Challenge
The current land to sea workstation is using and older platform with other 3rd party links, creating a slower and more complex user experience. To integrate a much simpler platform experience, the workstation needed to allow for better communication between ship-workers and on-land employees, faster process on procedure updates, and easy access to acknowledgement agreements.
Solution
I designed a new, scalable experience that communicates between Salesforce Data and their current Content Library with an easy to use dashboard interface.
Role + Process
UX Lead – I conducted stakeholder interviews to collect tacit knowledge and data in the current workstation, to help influence the design and structure of the new experience. The findings that emerged from the interviews were then gathered and analyzed to develop a recommended approach. I created wireframes with existing and future “Northstar” requirements and throughout the project I facilitated various design reviews with the client and tech teams to continue progress in phases of development.
